Since 1987 Robert has represented property owners and buyers of a diverse array of real estate properties in all price ranges throughout Greater Victoria and the Gulf Islands. In addition, Robert also established a highly-respected development marketing practice, and has represented more than 30 new multi-family and resort developments over the past 20+ years. During that time he has learned a great deal about what it takes to work effectively and collaboratively with his clients.

Robert has been actively involved in organized real estate since 1989, serving as president of the Victoria Real Estate Board in 1994; the executive committee of the British Columbia Real Estate Association; and as Chairperson of the BCREA Task Force on Continuing Professional Development. Robert is recognized for his leadership in the field of business ethics and has taught a college-level course in ethics, and was the original author of “Applied Ethics in Real Estate” for the British Columbia Real Estate Association.

In addition to his real estate practice, Robert provides leadership to the Vancouver Island sales team by offering mentoring, coaching, and sales training services through the Macdonald Realty Connected Learning Program.
